Summer!

       Summer.

The word itself just excites you right?! Relaxation. The beautiful sun sets on the beach. The never ending nights with friends. 

                                                          3 months of joy and leisure.

Three months to transform your life. A lot can happen in three months. A lot can change in three months.
I know God wants to use everyone of you in so many ways this summer. For me, I am just going to work ever day and I thought to myself what spectacular things can really happen this summer. But God has been opening my heart and giving me more and more passion to do His work. I am so excited to do what ever and reach who ever He wants me to.  I just had to be willing. That is all God wants from us to be willing to do His will He doesn't expect you to change people heart He will do that He is capable of that and so much more that we can't even comprehend He just wants us to do His will. He doesn't expect us to be perfect, we just need to love Him. 
                                                            Matthew 22:37-38 
  "Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."

All He wants is our love. Once you love Him your can start your amazing and exciting journey with Him, He wants to us you in so many ways. But do you want Him to?

What will you do with your summer? Three months can change a lot.

So anyone watch the super bowl.. yah not me. I mean I even asked my boyfriend yesterday who was playing in the super bowl. I know pathetic, I feel non American. Any ways moving on to more important topics than 30 year old men tackling each other...

      Have you ever really thought about the way we treat one another? It seems like in the society we live in we just the motto is " Tear others down, then you will feel great about your own self esteem." Sounds like a good plan?!  I think NOT!

 I mean have you ever had a friend or even a stranger come up to you and compliment your smile or tell you    that she has cheered up your day. I mean really a couple simple encouraging, and up lifting words could make someones day or even change someones life. 

God made all of so precious and wonderful and fantastic and He has such a unconditional love for us. Why cant we just love each other instead of putting that one kid down or talking about the girl in class that sits in the back. It won't benefit you to put someone down, and it most definitely wont help the other person.

So remember love one another, and a smile is contagious :)

Is it really important?

(Oh and this picture has nothing do what I am talking about but isn't he CUTE!)

So I have a issue ( well I have a lot of them but we don't have time for all that junk). My problem is I obsess over things such as..making lists, new TV show,( omg did you see the new Grey's Anatomy!), I'm obsessed with food, I am even obsessed with how people think about me, I know I'm weird, but I'm guessing this isn't a new concept for anyone having something they love doing.

      But its when these tiny little habits, things, or thoughts become much larger than God.. thats when these "obsessions" become a problem.

I know you probably saying "I mean really  dude you want me to give up my iPod, your crazy?!" and thats not what I am saying at all I'm not telling you to go live in a whole somewhere and seclude your self from the world all I am saying is are these things really more important than the One who created you, and also are these things actually benefiting your life?  1 Corinthians 6:12 actually says
                         " Everything is permissible- but not all is beneficial."

So what I think that means is yeah you can watch movies( as long as they are not more important than God) but is this movie really benefiting your life? Is it making you a person that God would be proud of? Is it going against what you believe?

               Because if it is you maybe want to re-evaluate

         some aspects that contribute to your life. 

Think about that. Ponder on it if you would like. 

 I have been thinking that if God was to ask me to give this up right now, would I be able. I guess thats how you know how very important it is to you. I challenge you to maybe ask yourself, would you be able to give up the possession you love most?

Crazyness

School= Stressful

Whether your in college, high school, or even kindergarten ( One of the hardest times of my life,I mean really do you expect us to ALWAYS color in the lines!). 

                  You have no idea what there talking about half the time because your always suppose to be    learning something" new" every grade.   Its crazy-ness.They throw all this stress on you its hard to think straight, then add work on to that ( how again are these suppose to be the greatest days of our lives?)

But its always nice to know you got someone helping you out, pushing you a long, some one to catch you when you fall, some to be there when all the exams and projects, and social problems, and difficulties with your teachers seem to IMPOSSIBLE to take on... He is there with open arms and a huge smile on His face just knowing that you turned to Him and not drugs, and not alcohol, and not any other addiction that is lesser than Him.

              He just wants to be there for you. To comfort you and to assure you everything will be okay.

                                                         He even promises it.v

Jeremiah 29:11 "  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Though you may not know the future He has got your back and knows the desires of your heart. 

Trust Him. He will always be there for you.

Addicted!

Happy Thursday!!

Thursday is an odd day to me, because its not quite as exciting as the anticipated Friday, but yet you can always look at the positive, its not Monday :) 

So for all you coffee drinkers I'm sure you understand the sheer pain of not getting your morning coffee right?

Well this morning I was late for work(as normal) and I didn't get time to have my morning coffee! I know devastating, but it made me think... If I can barely survive a couple of hours during the day with out coffee, then why is it okay to go the whole day,maybe even week with out my quiet time with God?!

That is ABSOLUTELY mind boggling! We don't realize how much we really need  are Savior until you start talking and discovering Him each day. Just like coffee, you aren't just going to have that " I need it sooo bad" feeling if you just thought about it and never really drank it. Right?! 

So for me I really want to have a habit started no coffee until devotions are over because whats more important a forever lasting, unconditional relationship with your Best Friend or a caffeine high?

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."Romans 12:1-3

Renewal each day. That is the challenge for today :)

Accomplishment.

You know that feeling when your mom says you have done an amazing job! I am so glad you are my daughter..The feeling that she is so proud of you that her love is over flowing for you. Well for me the feeling of acceptance and accomplishment is the only thing I want out of my life. It is the only thing I have ever strive towards.

So imagine the Creator of the universe saying to you " Well done my good and faithful servant" , I don't know about you but that is what I want my life to revolve around from this point on. I want to be everything I can for Him.
